Setting Gimbal Endpoints
To avoid cable snagging and unwanted gimbal overshoots, you can set endpoint limits for the Pan, Tilt, and Roll axes on each APC-R. This feature is currently only available in the MacOS version of the Middle Control app.
Open the APC-R / APC-R Mini / APC-R Mini Lite device settings in Middle Control. If your gimbal is supported and APC-R running the required firmware, you will see the endpoint configuration options.
Use the Reset button to restore the default full-range motion (removing any endpoints you’ve set).
On DJI RS4, RS4 Pro, and RS5, the standard DJI SDK does not take into account the endpoints configured on the gimbal. To use endpoints on these models, enable Use Gimbal Settings in the APC-R status page. In this mode, Middle Control mirrors the gimbal's built-in thumb joystick and honours the Joystick Speed, Smoothness, and Endpoint values set directly on the gimbal. Since Joystick Speed & Smoothness is directly handled by the gimbal, this mode may require some tuning to get the feel right.
